Twenty-one Deep Blue travelers headed to Costa Rica August 4-9, 2016 for some amazing diving and adventures! After flying into Liberia, we took the shuttle over to Playa Hermosa on the northwestern part of the country and settled in at Villas Sol! The views from the rooms couldn't be beat.  All food and drinks were included, so after a day of traveling we all popped down for some tasty food and beverages!  After a comfy night of sleep we met Rocket Frog Divers down on the beach and took off for our 1st day of diving.  Over the 9 dives we did on the trip we saw many different species of eels, puffers, rays (including Mantas!), sharks (white tips and bull sharks!), and school after school of various fish. 

At only $1,825, the trip was an incredible value!  And yes, that included the round-trip flight from LAX.  It also included:

• Airport shuttles (in Costa Rica AND to/from LAX)
• 5 Night Double Occupancy room at Villas Sol
• Hotel Tax
• 3 days of 2 boat dives plus 1 day of 3 boat dives (including one dive at Bat Island) for 9 dives total
• Tanks and weights
• All meals and snacks at the resort
• All drinks at the resort (yes, including alcohol)

In addition to diving, different members of the group took part in horseback riding, zip lining, mud baths, waterfall hikes, ATV rides, and shopping excursions over the course of the trip. Two Deep Blue representatives were on the trip and handled all coordinating aspects of the trip so that when you were on vacation, you got to act like you were on vacation.  See you on our next trip!
