Night Diver

Why should the time of day limit your diving? Doesn’t have to with the Night Diver Specialty! Experience the underwater world in a whole new way! Night dives offer more and different types of aquatic life, the added adventure of diving in the dark, and the ability to use some new skills and equipment specific to night diving. In this course you will learn: 

• Light handling and communication techniques.
• Entering, exiting and navigating in the dark.
• Identifying how plants and animals differ or change behavior at night.

Schedule

In order to finish this course, there are 3 dives you'll need to complete. If you've already achieved your Advanced Open Water with Deep Blue, you'll only need to do two (as you did the first one during AOW). If you only need the 2 dives we typically do both in one day from the beach. If you need all three they can be done in one day or over two days. If you'd prefer to dive over at Catalina we can arrange for boat tickets as well!

Price

The price of the course is $210. This includes materials, instruction, certification, and our full rental package (BCD, regulator w/computer, wetsuit, hood, tanks, and weights). Some special equipment is required for the course and, if not already owned, can be purchased at Deep Blue at a 10% student discount once you enroll.
