Samantha has always loved swimming and working with children. She competed on her high school's Varsity swim team and helped coached her club team. She later worked as an assistant in the preschool setting to focus on early education. Her goal is to help children find confidence in the water, while also making sure they are having fun. Samantha graduated from CSULB with a Bachelors in Geography with an emphasis in Environmental Sciences. She is particularly interested in wetland and coastal sage scrub habitats. She is open water certified and has traveled to the Philippines where she swam side by side lionfish, a blue-ringed octopus, and whale sharks. But her most favorite past time is exploring California’s beauty with her fiancé and dog.
